Here, Viv (the creator) is literally saying that it's okay for people to like Valentino as a character, essentially implying that he's supposed to be ED if anything. Even in the actual show, he has a lot of laughably evil moments even if his crimes are taken seriously in-universe.
Name me a HS who is your favorite character in their work.
I'll start with saying that my current favorite character in Miraculous is Lila - mostly because i like sadistic manipulators (even if Lila's manipulations sucsessful mostly with writer's help) and because she is the one who yearns to ruined Marinette life the most making her most personal villain.................and because i hate Marinette too (MOST annoying protagonist i've seen) - i kinda root for Lila.

There are only two conditions:
The Hate Sink's punishment needs to equivalent, ironic or symbolic of their own detestable acts.
The Hate Sink can be MINOR sympathetic but not too much, It's allowed to make tihem look sympathetic and perhaps express remorse for some of their actions, but nothing more.
I'll go first with Lucinda Perryweather:
Fire her from her Fairy Godmother position
Strip her of her magic and force her to live among the ordinary boring commonfolk (Sounds like a fitting punishment for a narcissist like her)
Place her under an obedience spell similar to the one she put on Ella, and force to suffer like Ella did (sweet, sweet karma)
Take away her beauty or turn her into a squirrel (Because, she was constantly making threats to do the same to people who disliked her gifts)
I would say yes because he did everything cruel to his species plus he betrayed humanity by sellling them to the combine

Where was it confirmed she was meant to be sympathized with when El attacked her?
He only cares about making a legacy for himself. He sees his own children as disposable pawns to continue his legacy and would kill them if they weren't "perfect". He threw away Miranda when he lost interest in her and create Oriana. When Miranda took Oriana away from him so she can have a perfect life, he sent the Eclipse to kidnap Oriana and kill anyone who gets in their way. (He ordered the Eclipse to do the latter too). And he established Sanctuary and lured millions of innocent people there so they can be horrifically experimented on for Cerberus. He has no evil is cool moments either as whenever he his mentioned or seen, it's just to show how much of a scumbag he is.
They say it's a redeeming quality, but Hate Sinks can have redeeming qualities. Also, it can be counted as a minor prevention, so if someone is a bit more affable than they are faux affable, then it doesn't make them that much less despicable.
Because that Guy showed no care for his family at all and even Jack himself referred him as bad seed, He even killed a bully and tortured him without giving him food, he even killed a man by burning him while butting candles in a cake and lured and killed Chris Men just to get to Chris and kill him, he also threaten to Kill Mia if Ethan does obey him
This guy seriously is the bad seed.
