Not familiar with Meta Runner but I know Sheridan had redeeming qualities that he subverted on screen while Lucks was at least implied to have had redeeming qualities as opposed to Evelyn who was never implied to have had any redeeming qualities but HS's can be debased.
I get what you're thinking but hear me out. In addition to his crimes, Kahn in this has subverted most of his Evil Is Cool moments, instead spouting out misogynistic crap and claiming how he wants to make Outworld great again. His intelligence was also heavily toned down to the point where he's a fucking idiot in this.
Yes, he's also basically a Scrappy but that's because fans don't like how the game stripped away his entertaining factors not because the game unintentionally made him unlikeable.
Ngl, I don't think Katie's going to be a hate sink for very long. It seems like they're shifting away from stereotypical alpha bitch to Bryce Tankthrust expy. Her shoving Tom in episode 8 came off as more comedic slapstick than her pouring coffee on him back in the pilot.
She's incredibly rude and interrupting when Charlie's giving a speech to rally up the cannibals. She's so annoying that she made both Charlie (who doesn't curse that much, at least relative to the rest of the cast) and Alastor (who pretty much never curses at all) swear.

The episode pissed a lot of people off but the anger was more directed to SpongeBob not listening to Gary rather than Puffy's actions themselves. It is shown that it is just his species' nature to act that way and he's depicted as rather animalistic when he goes full monster.
He lacks the tragic backstory from the manga.
Here, Viv (the creator) is literally saying that it's okay for people to like Valentino as a character, essentially implying that he's supposed to be ED if anything. Even in the actual show, he has a lot of laughably evil moments even if his crimes are taken seriously in-universe.
Another website (not saying which one) says she is but the Fruits Basket wiki describes her as "complex".
From what I've seen, she's basically Junko (who already isn't exactly far from being a hate sink) but without the entertainingly detestable moments.
He has much less laughably evil moments than the original Freddy and the remake Freddy was able to be here due to his lack of LE moments too.
The creators apparently hate the character but (at least earlier in the series) he had a lot of Evil Is Cool moments and even his final battle was pretty cool and his death where he walked off getting impaled for bit before succumbing to his injuries was kind of cool too.
So...are they?
