A-Train is a major antagonist in the controversial comic book series The Boys. He is a "superhero" and a member of The Seven.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• Like the rest of The Seven, he only acts as a superhero for fame and has no altruistic desire to save people other than to make himself look good.
• He has a massive ego due to his unmatched speed.
• He feels zero remorse for accidentally killing Hughie's girlfriend, Robin, which traumatized Hughie and was his sole motivation to stop superheroes.
• He is a massive pervert, especially around Starlight who he sexually assaults multiple times, destroying her idealistic view of superheroes. He goes out of his way to gang-rape her on her first day (while saying "can't stop the A-Train".) After this he childishly does a dick-sucking gesture during a serious meeting at Starlight.
• He subverts his one redeeming quality by cutting off his friendship with Jack from Jupiter as despite everything he has done for him, he stops being friends with him by turning against him alongside the Seven.
• He is incredibly cowardly when faced with actual threats as shown when he tearfully begs Billy Butcher to not kill him, then gets a very satisfying death.

Trivia

• His TV show counterpart cannot qualify as he has more sympathetic qualities and does a few genuinely heroic things after realizing his actions may be wrong.
