Ajax is a minor antagonist in the AMC series Into the Badlands.

Ajax is one of the Colts in the Armadillo Territory that fights in the Colt pits with the intention of one day becoming a Clipper. In order to impress the Clippers Ajax is shown to be extremely violent and abrasive toward other Colts such as M.K. and Bale.

He was portrayed by Shane Graham.

What Makes Him Hated?

• He brutally fights with other Colts and attacks new recruits that are physically weaker than him.
• He is extremely violent in order to gain the attention of a Clipper in order to be taken as one of their Colts.
• It is implied he's attacked Bale in the past, as he is the one who warns M.K. about Ajax's violent nature.
• He steals M.K.'s necklace off of him for no reason when M.K. wasn't even bothering him.
• When M.K. attempts to take his necklace back, Ajax attacks him and only stops after Sunny intervenes.
• Feeling as though M.K. embarrassed him in front of the Regent, he violently attacks M.K. in private.
• While M.K. stabbing him in the eye with a piece of glass is horrifying, it's not portrayed as sympathetic but rather as karmic for how much of a violent jerk Ajax has been.

Trivia

• He is the only Hate Sink from Into the Badlands to not be either NPE or PE.
