Alberto “The Shadow”, is a supporting antagonist in the 1983 gangster film Scarface.
He is Alejandro Sosa’s main body guard and one of his personal assassins alongside The Skull.
He was portrayed by the late Mark Margolis who also portrayed Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is one of Sosa’s main assassins, meaning he has killed people for Sosa, mainly when Albert is involved in the brutal murder and hanging of Omar Suarez.
- He is very annoying, impatient and demanding when he is working with Tony.
- Perhaps his most detestable quality is his willingness to kill an entire family, including children, to eliminate his target. When Tony objects to the hit because it would involve innocent lives, Albert refuses, he then annoyingly tells Tony to shut up, because he kept telling Alberto to not kill the family, then Tony promptly shoots him in the face before Albert can kill the women and children.
- He is a coward, since he is scared of how Sosa would react if he didn’t kill the guy he ordered Albert to kill, but then again he could’ve grown a spine and refuse to kill the persons family members, and complete the mission some other time or day just like Tony said. He lacks any bravery and completely relies on others authority.
