Alistair Ryle is the main antagonist in the 2014 British drama film The Riot Club. He is a first-year history student whose brother, Sebastian, was considered a "legendary" member of the Riot Club. Alistair is politically right, leading to intense conflict and rivalry with Miles. Alistair attended Harrow School, unlike his brother, who attended Eton.
He was portrayed by Sam Claflin, who also portrayed Alexander Brock in Charlie's Angels, Lieutenant Hawkins in The Nightingale, and Oswald Mosley in Peaky Blinders.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is a greedy, manipulative, dark, delusional, charismatic, egotistical, con artist, businessman and a first-year history student whose brother, Sebastian, was considered a 'legendary' member of The Riot Club. Alistair was politically right, leading to intense conflict and rivalry with Miles.
- He trashed Milo's bedroom for revenge with the help of his friends
- He called Milo's love interest Lauren after Charlie to have sex and "play for some fun" which shocked him as he and the gang nearly attempted to sexually assault her.
- He then begun a villainous breakdown while drunk how much he hated being thinking they were nobodies and calming he was "sick to ******* of poor people".
- He and the gang then begun to trash the dinner room in the country pub which upset Chris.
- After Chris found out, He assaulted Rachel's father Chris with the gang as Rachel and Milo watched in horror.
- Even a couple of years later, After being free, He got away with his crimes.
- He has no any redeeming factors as is taken very seriously.
