Amber Freeman is the secondary antagonist of the 2022 slasher film Scream, the fifth installment of the franchise of the same name.

Prior to the events of the film, she met Richie Kirsch on Reddit. The two of them were both upset over the new Stab movie being so terrible, so they both decided to start a killing spree in Woodsboro and frame Sam Carpenter, the illegitimate daughter of Billy Loomis, as the villain.

She was portrayed by Mikey Madison.

What Makes Her Despicable?[]

Invaded Sam's sister Tara's house and attempted to kill her, she stabbed her multiple times and broke her leg but it is later revealed that she left her alive to attract her older sister Sam Carpenter, not caring that the two were friends for years.
Brutally killing Judy.
She tried to make Sam choose between Tara and Richie.
She kills Dewey Riley, one of the main characters of the franchise, she stabs him in the back and opens his stomach, while mocking him by telling him that today was the day he was going to die.
Attempting to murder Chad Meeks-Martin.
Shooting Liv McKenzie in the head.
Tying Tara up.
Pretended to be injured to trap Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers, then shooting Gale.
Stabbing Sidney in the stomach.
Was going to frame Sam for the murders.
Taunting Gale about Dewey's death and said he died like a "pussy".
Pathetically begging for Gale and Sidney not to kill her.
Tried to kill everyone one last time before Tara shoots her in the head.
Her motive of being angry at Stab 8 for ruining the Stab franchise and murdering people just to make a new real life Stab movie is rather stupid, especially when compared to the motives of other killers in the series.
