Ser Amory Lorch is a supporting antagonist from the books A Song of Ice and Fire and the TV adaptation series Game of Thrones. he is a knight that work for house Lannister.
he was portrayed by Fintan McKeown.
What Makes Him Hated?[]
- In the books he was described as a very cruel man, having killed last Lord Tarbeck - a 3-year-old boy, down a well and also kill Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. in her bed by stabbing her dozens of times.
- Even Tywin Lannister who ordered the murder (implied), was disgusted when he heard about it and scolded him.
- He appears in the series when he prepared an army to attack a team of Night's Watch recruits, only because he was looking for the bastard Gendry under the orders of Janus Slynt to kill the bastard Robert Barthyrion.
- He does not capture Gendry, but he kills Yoren and Lommy Greenhands and brings all the recruits to Harrenhal.
- He supports the torture of the prisoners by rats to find the brotherhood without banners.
- He tries to capture Aria after she stole a letter from Tivin and when he fails goes to tell the latter, which could have ended in her arrest and death.
- He is shown to be incompetent as Tywin got mad at him for giving military information to supporters of Rob Stark, causing Tywin to kick him out of the meeting.
- He has zero redeeming qualities and is shown to be the most brutal in relation to the series.
