Anna Watson is a minor antagonist of Spider-Man: The Animated Series. She is the aunt of Mary Jane, but she hates and despises Peter Parker for selfish reasons.
She was voiced by the late Majel Barrett.
What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]
- When Mary Jane went missing after she was kidnapped by Baron Mordo, she blames Peter for it.
- When she was having dinner with Aunt May, Mary Jane tells Peter about his memory being the worst, to which she harshly replies that even his manners are the worst.
- When Peter Parker was framed by Richard Fisk, she badmouths him and believes that he’s guilty, despite having no evidence of it.
- In the hospital when Aunt May was ill, she blames Peter for her condition and says that he’s better being in prison, which angered Mary Jane and causes her to leave the room and she wonders why she is upset, and she doesn’t even realize that she just frustrated her own niece.
- When Mary Jane was getting engaged with Harry Osborn, she was happy and she coldly replies that Peter was never there for Mary Jane, and she even rubs it on Peter's face which was cruel and hurt his feelings, but the engagement was called off.
- When Peter gets back with Mary Jane, she is still hostile towards him again.
- When Peter was missing when he was stopping Carnage, she whispers to Mary Jane that Peter is going to be in trouble for making Aunt May sick again.
- She asks Mary Jane about how Norman was. She tells her that Peter saved him and didn’t call, and she meanly says that Peter is irresponsible and coldly says that if she was never friends with Aunt May and calls Peter a strange young man.
- After Mary Jane was missing after the Green Goblin was gone also when she was in her bed at the hospital, she coldly blames Peter for Mary Jane’s disappearance and says that it’s all his fault and replies to it over and over again while the orderlies restrain her.
- She sends the Punisher after Peter which he violently throws Peter onto a table.
- After Mary Jane (or rather her clone) gets kidnapped by Hydro-Man's clone, she blames Peter for her disappearance once again.
