Ares is a major antagonist of a pokemon fanfic, Arc of Juliana, a alternative verison of Pokémon Maroon.
He is a barbaric and wrathful pokemon trainer and motorcycle driver who was formerly a member of Team Star before they expelled him from the team for his abusive behavior, wanted to get revenge on them and to turn Uva Academy into a battleground war zone.
He is Penny's archenemy.
What makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- Even before the events of the story, he was already an egotistical and wrathful teenager who bullied students he thinks are weak and pitiful, which lead him to be suspended several times.
- He joined Team Star for the sole purpose of terrozing Paldea for his own amusement and harming several trainers.
- His actions were so severe and cruel, Team Star immediately expelled from the team because of his abusive behavior.
- He planned on disbanding Team Star to take leadership and start terrorizing Uva Academy and across over academy for his own enjoyment.
- He manipulated Penny under the alias, Steel Fury to disband the team into thinking they were planning to set the academy ablaze.
- After allowing Juliana and Penny to disband the team, he lured her into his base to held her hostaged to keep her away from stopping her plans.
- He and his crew Team Skar manipulated several trainers and students into becoming barbarians and turning against the academy to terrorize for fun.
- After Juliana escaped, he turned Uva Academy into a battleground war zone, causing several students injured, battling for survival, into barbarians and had teachers held hostaged and kidnapped.
- While nobody was killed, however most students were sent to the hospital due to severe injuries, brutality and even mentally insane because of Ares's plans.
- While he does accept defeat and lets Juliana free the teachers, he didn't redeemed himself as he would only stop doing heinous actions in order to not be sented life in prison.
- He is also a hypocrite, as he boasts to the Headmaster that (he? She?) doesn't know what it's like to be bullied, even though Ares does bully others himself.
