Arick "Burnie" Burnz is a minor antagonist that appears in the episode of MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (Ft Fizzarolli) in the adult animated black comedy-web series Helluva Boss.
He is an obsessed hater of Fizzarolli who used to be an obsessed fan of Fizzarolli after he thought that Fizzarolli rejected him.
He was voiced by Don Darryl Rivera.
What Makes Him A Hate Sink?[]
- His very first appearance has him stalking Fizzarolli and Blitzø as they are walking home from Mammon's show.
- According to Blitzø, he frequently tried to sniff around their dressing rooms.
- He attempts to force Fizzarolli into accepting a pitch of his in which he and Fizzarolli are in a romantic relationship. As Blitzø points out, the pitch is absolutely weird, not to mention that Fizzarolli was a teenager (at the time), making Arick's obsession ephebophilic.
- Every time Blitzø calls Arick out on his behavior, Arick blows him off and continues to act entitled to Fizzarolli.
- When Fizzarolli refuses his advances, he starts telling Fizz that his shows are terrible, while acting like he's the victim.
- He was the reason Fizzarolli devolved anxiety, insecurity, and the obsession with being perfect.
- He's also the reason why Fizzarolli didn't want to always do greet and meets with fans later on, even those who are actually genuine to him despite being perverts and creeps.
- He started a hate blog against Fizzarolli and brags about it at a meet and greet toward Fizzarolli.
- He makes it clear that he buys Fizzarolli's product, including the robots which he uses for sexual pleasure, as he claims that don't get him off right toward Fizzarolli.
- He also insulted Fizzarolli's boss at the time Mammon during his ranting. While Mammon is a jerk, even he showed some genuine, yet twisted, care for Fizzarolli.
- His vision shows he wants to be dominant over Fizzarolli with the latter as a gimp slave, further showing how much he wants to be controlling of him.
- Every time he appears, his actions make Fizzarolli extremely uncomfortable and puts him into a panic.
- During Fizzarolli's panic attack at the meet and greet, he laughs out of sadism and insanity.
- He breaks into Fizzarolli's dressing room to kill him, being stopped by Blitzø, who blows his head off.
- On that note, attacking Fizzarolli was very stupid on his part as not only did Blitzø already make the threat of shooting him should he not back off, but Asmodeus, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, was in the room with him. So even if Blitzø wasn't there to kill him, Asmodeus most certainly would've done the deed himself with relative ease.
- His ironic death is played for complete stress relief and satisfaction with the side of a Fitting punishment.
- While he has one comedic moment where he says the exaggeratedly large title of his hate blog about Fizzaroli and falls on the floor shortly afterwards is a somewhat funny, that doesn't detract from how horrible and mean he is.
