You are a member of the Guardians of Friendship, aren't you? You simply shine with talent. Your magical aura is pure to perfection. Sunset Shimmer: I'm not proud of being special! I am proud only of the fact that I chose the right path in my life. I am Sunset Shimmer! Azerg: And my name is Azerg. But from now on you can call me Forestfear. Do you want me to explain to you, Sunset, why, after so much time of magically improving yourself through various trials and training your mind, you still remain one step behind the same Princess Twilight? Because you have become too human. In the literal sense. You have ceased to be who you were before, now you will know weakness and despair, you will grow old, and die as a weak creature. So return to the members of Equestrian Evil. When you return, you will be able to develop your power for at least a hundred, at least two hundred years. You will gain new superpowers. |

What Make Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He has been traveling the Oneness for many years to different multiverses, corrupting local good characters or those who have redeemed themselves and sided with good simply to satisfy his selfish and baseless hatred of the concept of good and his sadistic desire to plunge worlds into chaos through his indirect actions.
- While his demeanor often appears to be one of politeness, respect, and admiration for his opponents, none of what he shows them is genuine, being merely a hypocritical façade designed to make those he manipulates choose the side of evil and indirectly force them to do what he wants, completely ignoring their positive sides, relationships with others, and their personalities as a whole, seeking to simply satisfy his ability to corrupt others for his own selfish ends.
- While his true origins and his true motives are shrouded in deep mystery, this does not even come close to robbing him of his moral agency. While it can be argued that his hatred of the concept of good makes him limited in his understanding of right and wrong, he does have a strong manipulative and sadistic nature towards what he does, and is also adept at playing the role of a benefactor when dealing with positive characters and those who have redeemed themselves and sided with good, fully aware that not only will many of the objects of his manipulation not accept his "offers", but that his own actions are largely meaningless and bring only chaos to the world, but still chooses to remain true to his villainy for the sake of satisfying his desire to destroy as many worlds as possible through his indirect actions, so that as many creatures he deems weak will suffer because of it.
- During his first appearance in the story, he directly takes the Elements of Magic from the Humane 7 and then delivers a powerful punch to Fluttershy's stomach, reasoning his actions by stating that he simply has a deep hatred for anyone who represents the concept of good.
- During his battle with Sunset Shimmer, he continually attempted to verbally manipulate her into abandoning her redemption and turning to the dark side again, while inflicting numerous injuries on her in the process, such as slicing off part of her head, piercing several of her abdominal organs, and gouging out her left eye.
- Although he was somewhat upset that he had to kill Sunset, and he begged her to the last to reconsider and accept his "offer", in practice he was only sad that he had failed to corrupt such a profitable target for his plans. And although Sunset was later brought back to life, Azerg himself, neither then nor later, felt any remorse about his actions, considering it a given due to the failure of his plan.
- He attacks Canterlot City, killing many of its citizens, including police officers and some Guardians, whom he killed by dissolving them with chemical fog.
- During his final battle with Sunset Shimmer, he openly stated that since she refused his "offer", he would personally destroy the entire population of the Human World in retaliation for her refusal, wishing to do the same to every inhabited world in Unity in the future to satisfy his sense of power over those weaker than himself.
- In his final attempt to achieve his goals, he decides to destroy Canterlot City by descending upon it and blowing it up in his dragon form.
