What Makes Them Despicable	Taking control of Earth's population and turning almost all of Goku and Pan's loved ones against them and forcing them to kill them.
"Love to hate" factors	His voice and name are pretty funny and are is easy to make fun of. His designs in his true form and while possessing Vegeta are pretty cool. He cares for his Tuffle race, wanting to have them avenged by destroying the Saiyan race. Chi-Chi slapping him is a bit funny. The fact that he brought back Planet Vegeta, Goku's home planet, is pretty amazing.

Baby is the main antagonist of the anime Dragon Ball GT. He was created by combining the DNA of the Tuffle King with a robotic body, to preserve the Tuffle race after they were slaughtered by the Saiyans. He is the first of the three arc villains in Dragon Ball GT and the main antagonist of the Baby saga. He is also Uub and Pan's arch-nemesis.

He was voiced by Mike MacFarland in the FUNimation dub and by Yūsuke Numata in the original Japanese.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• His motives for revenge against the Saiyans are beyond petty. As Goku had pointed out more than once, the Saiyans were destroyed many years ago when Frieza wiped out Planet Vegeta, so throughout the course of both Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, justice had long been done. However, this doesn't seem to concern Baby in the slightest. The only thing he cares about is the fact that there are any Saiyans remaining, and these Saiyans happen to be the bloodlines of Goku and Vegeta, who have learned from the mistakes made by the Saiyans of yesteryear. The main reason he also targets Goku's loved ones is because they're related to him since he's a Saiyan, even though they have done nothing to him.
• The way he brainwashes his victims is quite disgusting. He has the ability to enter the bodies of his victims via a cut in their skin and take over their minds, infecting them with Tuffle DNA and turning them into his minions. Even before exiting their bodies, he can lay an egg in them so they are still infected and brainwashed, as shown when he infects one human being after another and sadistically reveals to Trunks as Baby Vegeta once the main trio returns to Earth, which can arguably be considered a fate worse than death. To add insult to injury, he declares this Trunks' "new birthday" and judging by the state Goten was in, he was in severe psychological pain before getting brainwashed.
• As such, he manages to turn the heroes against their loved ones. After Goku, Pan and Trunks return to Earth, they are surprised to find that their families are acting rather hostile towards them and they initially can't figure out why. Bulma, Chi-Chi, Videl, Bulla, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Dende and Mr. Popo are all primary examples of this new development. They attempt to murder Goku, Pan, Uub and the Supreme Kai (which would kill Beerus and Whis if they went through with it, assuming they exist in the GT continuity), the first of whom were both their family members and children at the time, while Gohan and Videl force Pan to join them with the threat of killing her, much to her trauma.
• Even before he starts possessing the main characters, he managed to kill an entire spaceship full of passengers, including the children, but not without possessing a young alien boy and using him as a decoy to have the Saiyans bring him to a hospital so he can put his plan into action.
• He is utterly unrepentant of his actions. Although Goku makes it perfectly clear that he will never forgive Baby for what he has done, Baby retorts that he wouldn't be caught dead asking for a Saiyan's forgiveness, showing no remorse for robbing the free will of Goku's innocent loved ones.
• He is a disgrace to the Tuffle race. He wishes to not only destroy the Saiyan race but all other lifeforms across the universe, whereas the Tuffles were a peaceable race, as are all the innocent humans he's stolen the free will of, so the only thing he's actually doing is giving the Tuffles a bad name.
• He attacks his own brainwashed minions. First, he ungratefully blasts Gohan, Goten and Trunks away for trying to help him, kills some of the people of Earth to test his power and attempts to murder Chi-Chi and Videl right in front of Goku and Pan just to anger them.
• He recklessly uses the Black Star Dragon Balls to wish for the destruction of Planet Earth as well as the restoration of Planet Plant, which ultimately results in Piccolo sacrificing himself with no chances of coming back.
• In addition to being evil, he's also a huge jerk, with examples being hitting Chi-Chi with a door when opening it and then shoving her when she tries to inspect Goten's wound, leading to her justifiably slapping him, and yelling at Videl to let go of him when she tries to stop him from going after Vegeta.
• He's a hypocrite, as he constantly rails against the Saiyans and how barbaric they are, when he himself is no better and is what he is essentially doing is far worse than what the Saiyans did to his own people and is even possessing the bodies of the very species he hates. Not to mention that the innocent people he brainwashed, including Goku's friends and family, had nothing to do with the Tuffle genocide at all, as Pan points out.
• His actions are so vile that fans immediately lose any sympathy for him. In fact, he was one of the very few villains that Goku actually went out of his way to kill without any regrets because he was that irredeemable. His actions clearly show why his name is Baby, considering he acts like one, as Gohan points out, and he's not wrong at all.
