Bach is a minor antagonist in the manga series Akame Ga Kill!. He is shown to be a kind and caring nobleman living in the Empire, but revealed to be a sadistic young man whose in charge of a group called "Enthusiasts" and brutally murder, torture, and rape the people that he draws in to work for him.
What Makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- After making the girls think he was a kindhearted young nobleman, Bach had his henchmen to hold the girls.
- He had one of his men break both of Fal's legs and then had him knock all her teeth out and chop off all her fingers.
- He has Luna's eyes gouged out for a man's pleasure, which causes her to commit suicide later.
- He then has Air raped by a dog in heat and had her treated like a dog further by her kidnapper, which caused her to die in the streets later.
- Unlike other characters in Akame Ga Kill!, Bach has no likable traits and his supposed past of being sold out by his mother and becoming a slave does not make him likable or sympathetic in the slightest, since that “past” of his might’ve been fake instead.
- While he may seem charismatic, he was only able to manipulate the girls because they have zero resources.
- He cowardly begs Akame to spare his life because of his supposed backstory only to be killed and thus given a well-deserved, karmic punishment.
