Beverly "Bev" Keane is the secondary antagonist of the Netflix Horror series "Midnight Mass". She is a fanatical christian, who tried to kill every non-christian and turn every christian to vampires.
She was portrayed by Samantha Sloyan
What makes her a Hate Sink?[]
- She was an evil person even from the beginning
- She was racist/islamophobic to Sheriff Hassan, even calling him Sharif Hassan
- Poisoned Joe's dog, Pike, for barking at her
- Joe also said that she was like that since the elementary school
- As told above, she killed Joe's dog because he barked at him. What makes the things worse, she knew that Pike was Joe's only friend he still had, because he was hated by the town for (accidentally) shooting Leeza. She never showed remorse for her deed. She even had to suppress a grin.
- It was also a brutal death, since she poisoned him with rat poison, instead of abducting the dog and killing him afterwards. This shows her cowardly nature.
- Even the residents somewhat showed sadness and compassion towards Joe's grieve.
- She tried to make Sheriff Hassan look like an anti christian muslim. After he said he doesn't have any problems with the religion, she tried to end the conversation, even trying to blame Hassan for this debate.
- After finding out that Father Paul was a vampire and he killed Joe she had Sturge and the mayor dispose his body.
- It's implied that she has poisoned Father Paul, even before knowing that he was a vampire
- She helped Father Paul to make every community member a vampire.
- At the end she took over the community and turning it into a cult. Even Father Paul was disgusted by her plans, since she tried to kill every non-christian.
- While all the other christian vampires sang at the end and acceptting their fate, she desperately tried to dig a hole to escape the sunlight

- Some people claim that she is one of the most despicable non-monster character in the Horror-genre
- She also symbolize how fanatical christians twist the teachings of the bible to their own good and profit, while Leeza ans Riley's mom symbolize the true loving christian side as teached in the bible.
- Other compare hee to Dolores Umbridge, since both a at first seemly nice and warm ladys but in reality they're just fanatical xenophobes, who only uses their power to gain control over others
