Bill A. is the overarching antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. He was the abusive father of Vanessa, the security guard for Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, for who blackmailed her to falsely testify against his wife in a custody battle.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?
- Even before getting married to his wife and giving birth to Vanny, there's no indication that Bill was good before becoming the reprehensible familial abuser he is today.
- It's heavily implied that during his younger days, Bill may have been a bully and a rude person.
- It's heavily implied by Vanny's therapists that he abused his wife and daughter for years, as it was stated that Bill's family life was dysfunctional, which could hint at a neglectful relationship with his parents, too.
- While many people think that Bill was abused by his parents, it's not actually true, since he may have instead outed them to the authorities out of sheer spite.
- He made a horrific attempt to break his daughter Vanny psychologically when she was still a child, as after he filed for a divorce with his wife, he forced Vanny to say a lot of horrible things about her mother in a courtroom full of people, and after Bill won the custody battle and got to keep Vanny, it's implied that he threatened his ex-wife into committing suicide.
- He faces no consequences for his actions and doesn't even show remorse for anything he has done. If he was aware that his wife killed herself, it's very likely that he wouldn't care, since he most likely threatened her to do so.
- Due to his actions, Vanny was so close to giving up on everyone and everything in life and shutting others out, but her therapists sympathized with her, which prevented Vanny from becoming a nihilistic and broken individual. If she let her horrifyingly and absurdly traumatic childhood consume her, Vanny could have ended up being as heinous and abusive as her father.
