Blood Falcon is the secondary antagonist of the F-Zero franchise, making his debut in F-Zero X. He is a clone of Captain Falcon who was created by Black Shadow, who instructed him to commit crimes. His biological age is 4, but he is stated to be 37 years old physically. He drives the F-Zero Machine known as Blood Hawk.
He is is voiced by Eric Kelso in F-Zero GX and by Banjō Ginga in F-Zero: GP Legend.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- While he does serve Black Shadow, this could just be out of pragmatism rather than genuine loyalty since nothing implies that Blood Falcon cares for Black Shadow and wants to impress him.
- He is an extremely personal enemy of Captain Falcon, as he will do whatever it takes to kill him, has made several spiteful attempts to beat him in races and even mocks and/or torments Captain Falcon on live TV by using his big ego to get everyone to like him.
- When Captain Falcon underwent a severe accident in his Blood Falcon and went into a coma at the hospital, Blood Falcon managed to manipulate someone into using Captain Falcon's DNA into creating him, which led to Blood Falcon accepting crime as his destiny and serving the Black Shadow.
- He is a cheater, as he occasionally breaks the rules in F-Zero races just so that he can ruin Captain Falcon's life and make him look like a complete idiot right in front of everyone.
- He is rather petty, as he killed at least one innocent person just because he felt like doing some evil things for no reason. He also bullies Captain Falcon since he thinks it's okay to abuse people and be a cruel dickhead.
- It's implied that he created many more clones of Captain Falcon so he could finally beat him and show him who is truly superior, even though Blood Falcon is obviously not meant to be seen as a good person.
- Despite his charisma, he generally lacks redeeming qualities and sympathetic traits because EVERYTHING about him is played dead seriously. Even the other racers in the game fear him and detest him for not only his personal villainy towards Captain Falcon, but also his cruelty and pettiness.
