Blue is the main antagonist of a Pokémon Creepypasta; Blue Tears Rebroken.

He is a former pokemon trainer who wants revenge on his rival Red after killing his Raticate and taking away his champion title. After killing him, he eventually goes on a murderous rampage, killing everyone that supported Red on his journey out of pure spite which leads to Leaf and Red's Pikachu wanting to end his rampage for good.

What Makes him a Hate Sink?[]

  • Although he seems sympathetic at the beginning of the story, losing his champion title and distraught after his Raticate's death, eventually wanting revenge on Red for it. Howver this doesn't justify for a few reasons.
    1. The Death of his Raticate was purely accidental, Red never had the intention of killing it and during his death, his last and only words were "I'm sorry...", meaning Red felt remorse for accidentally killing it, even if it wasn't his fault.
    2. Him losing his champion title is technically right, whenever a champion is beaten, they have to give their title to someone else. That's how it works in logic, meaning his reason for it is petty.
    3. His revenge towards Red is more so out of pure anger than vengeful. He's angry that Red won and took his champion title, which makes him pathetic.
  • After murdering Red, he eventually goes on a murderous rampage on killing everyone that supported Red on his journey, out of pure petty.
    • The people who supported Red during his journey had nothing to do with Raticate's death or Blue losing his title, it just makes his reason more pathetic and dumb.
    • Also they're innocent people, he has no right to kill just because he lost. It just makes him a sore loser than justified.
  • He went out of his way to killing every Gym Leaders in Kanto, including Giovanni.
    • While Giovanni was a bad person, considering he is the boss of Team Rocket that captured many pokemons and stolen from trainers, which would make it justified, however he only killed him out of anger, not because he did those actions.
    • Also the gym leaders were innocent victims who never did anything wrong to Blue, even they call him out because of it.
    • Each gym leader calling him out is purely justified.
      • Brock calls him an "a trainer who can't handle losing".
      • Misty calls him an "ungrateful loser".
      • Lt. Surge calls him a "whiny brat".
      • Koga calls him an "arrogant failure".
      • Both Sabrina and Giovanni call him "Pathetic"
      • Blaine tries to fight back and wanting to avenge the rest of the gym leaders.
      • However Erika is the only one who didn't call him out but was pleading with him to stop before he killed her.
  • He kills his own grandfather, Professor Oak just because he "praised" Red over him, blindingly knowing that he did care for him yet is overshadowed the fact he believes that everyone supported Red and not him.
  • He tries to outright kill Red's mother who was broken to hear his son's death, however Leaf and Pikachu stopped him in the right time before he did.
  • He brutally kills several trainers either by mutilating them or stabbing them several times including a youngster by bashing his head against the concrete floor.
  • His murderous rampage not only scarred everyone in Kanto but were afraid to have another trainer going to the same path as Blue.
  • When Leaf tries to get him to understand what he's doing and realizing the actions he done, however he started ranting on how its unfair to lose everything and not have anyone to care for him, he knows what he's doing is wrong and refuses to take any responsibility for it.
  • He outright tries to kill Red's Pikachu before Leaf sacrifices herself to save it, this also leads to Pikachu enraged and attacking Blue and eventually defeating him once and for all.
  • Although he later kills himself, it's not because he felt remorse of his actions, he stated he'll see everyone in hell, meaning he has no remorse over anything and his death isn't played as sympathetic, it only makes him a horrible monster who killed everyone over nothing but pettiness.

Trivia[]

  • Essentially this verison of Blue Tears was meant to mock the many sympathetic verisons of Blue and the dead Raticate in the games due to Blue having a Raticate in his team yet is absent later, many theories speculated Red killed it or that it died during the St Ann battle.
