Bones is an antagonist from Monster House.
He was voiced by Jason Lee.
What Makes Him A Hate Sink?[]
- He is an abusive boyfriend to Zee and doesn't respect women, which makes falling victim to the female Monster House ironic.
- Unlike Mr. Nebbercracker, his meanness is not an act. And unlike Constance, the movie makes no attempt to make him sympathetic.
- It is implied that he cares more about his kite than he does his girlfriend. (It is possible that having his kite taken from him by Mr. Nebbercracker may have played a role in his unpleasant personality in the film proper, but it doesn't confirm it.)
- While Zee finds his prancing of DJ funny at first, he also decides to rip DJ's stuffed bunny, something that Zee doesn't approve of.
- Zee eventually decides to kick him out of the house.
- Zee decides that she would be better off dating Skull than dating him, as he is a better boyfriend to her.
