Braeburn in a minor antagonist of the My Little Pony Dark Novel Fiction "Ask Crapplejack", which is part of the "Ask A Pony" series was made Tumblr user CMH (also known as Devnul).
He was a perverted relative who was part of The Apple Family, in which Braeburn used Granny Smith's invitation to stay for Hearth's Warming Eve as an opportunity to rape his cousin Applejack. It was implied that he has likely done this to Applejack before.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- In the beginning of the Tumblr blogs, when Apple Bloom read the note to Applejack that they are sending back Braeburn since Granny Smith got sick while at Appleloosa until Granny was nursed back to health, Applejack's face was shown to be in horror and fear. This would later implicate that Braeburn had likely raped Applejack and did one horrible stuff to her before as she was seen crying in her room as everyone was going to sleep, visibly shown to be traumatized by him.
- Braeburn uses a kind facade as a way to hide his true intentions when he was around Apple Bloom or the other members of the Apple family. However, when Apple Bloom leaves to fix Braeburn's room that he was supposed to sleep in for the night on the second floor of the family barn, Braeburn drops the facade to Applejack, saying that how he doesn't think that he'll get much sleep as he does a sadistic grin, implicating that he was going to rape Applejack this night.
- When everyone was asleep, Braeburn used this as an opportunity to rape Applejack, smiling with malicious intent of doing so.
- Braeburn's actions were so abhorrent that the Tumblr Askers were disgusted with Braeburn's actions, even going as far as telling Applejack to kill him for what he did as revenge, in which Applejack succeeded in doing.
- Braeburn's death by getting beaten to death by Applejack was shown to be more satisfying and was never portrayed as sympathetic.
- Even after his death, it shows that Braeburn's actions had left Applejack with PTSD that was so bad that she nearly attempted suicide by shooting herself in the head.
- Overall, this version of Braeburn has zero redeemable traits to him unlike his original heroic counterpart.
