Brock Mason is the one of the two (alongside Dr. Barnaby) overarching antagonists and final boss of the 2006 video game Dead Rising. He is the commander of a military Special Forces unit sent to cover up the incident made in Santa Cabeza by eliminating the zombies and killing any spotted survivors.
He was voiced by Gregg Berger.
What Makes Him Despicable?[]
- He attacked Isabela and Frank via tank, after he quit trying, he switched to manual control and knocked them both out.
- He is introduced as a sociopath who takes delight in massacres like with Santa Cabeza for sport, whilst dismissing them as merely "missions", even remorselessly revealing his role behind the massacre to Frank.
- Taunts both Frank and Isabela as "prey" while calling them more stubborn than the zombies.
- When Frank West calls out his cynical nature, Brock Mason claims that humanity is most adept to making mistakes, being the only thing they all truly exceed at, whilst having noticeable excitement over it.
- He continues to drag on his beliefs with the Willamette operation that involves massacring both zombies and survivors, as he is willing to cover it up as an "incident".
- In the Deluxe Remake, he's much more hateable as in battle he frequently taunts Frank, calls him a kid who cannot stand a chance and similar insults that only highlights his narcissistic personality, such as him bragging how it isn't new that people get murdered by him.
