Bambi "Buck" Hughes is the tertiary antagonist in the video game Far Cry 3. He's a mercenary under the employ of Hoyt Volker who manipulates Jason Brody into bringing him an ancient knife in exchange for the freedom of his friend Keith (who he purchased from Hoyt as a sex slave).

What makes him despicable?

• Despite supposedly being one of Hoyt's top men, he never does any actual work for him, only ever being seen lazily lounging around the island.
• In almost every interaction he has with Jason he mocks him about his posession and mistreatment of Keith, once even going so far as threatening to have him slit open just for Jason being rude.
• He doesn't show any loyalty to his supposed allies as he repeatedly has Jason kill Vaas' Pirates during the treasure hunts.
• He is ultimately revealed to have been raping and abusing Keith.
• Despite promising to let Keith go he betrays Jason and tries to either kill him or turn him into his next slave.
• He's not even a impressive fighter, being easily and quickly defeated by Jason (Both Hoyt and Vaas put up a significantly harder fight).
• Unlike Vaas (who fell into drug addiction and was manipulated by both Citra and Hoyt) amd even Hoyt (who is mentioned to have had a abusive childhood though it's not elaborated on enough to prevent him from being Pure Evil) he lacks any Freudian Excuse.
• His abuse of Keith plays a significant role in corrupting Jason into wanting revenge instead of saving his friends.
