Buser is minor character that appears in the light novel series Overlord.

In the Holy Kingdom Movie he is voiced by Akihiro Tajima in Japanese and Mike Smith in English.

What Makes him Despicable?

• While he cares about his people as well as his wife and children, his despicable acts outweigh those redeeming qualities too much.
• He only allied with Demiurge because he was forced to do so and wasn't loyal to him.
• He took over an entire city and killed a lot of people.
• He killed multiple human children and infants out of sadism, while pridefully wearing their skulls like trophies and bragged about it.
  • This is extremely hypocritical of him as he has children of his own and while it is understandable some Demi-Human races see humans as food or slaves, those acts were way too vile than their usual norm towards humans.
• He pridefully thought Ainz Ooal Gown magical made weapons would be weak due to his experience but also underestimating them.
• When he refused Ainz's servitude initially, he begged for mercy later on to accept him and his people when he was at the overlord's mercy. However, Ains Ooal Gown refused before Buser attempted to run away where he was killed, which was played for satisfaction. This is due to while Ainz Ooal Gown was disturbed by Buser's actions, due his emotional suppressor mechanism prevent it from feeling it so while he had no issue with it, Ainz only killed Buser since his human followers such as Pestonya Shortcake Wanko and Nigredo would been absolutely disgusted and would've heavily hated Buser since they have motherly like care to human children, which would've heavily negativity effect their opinion on Ainz Ooal Gown if he let someone like Buser into his service in Narizarck.

Trivia

• His karma rating is very high as according to the creator of Overlord series, killing prey and wearing them as trophies doesn't penalize someone despite being how vile it is.
• He is the only Overlord Hate Sink to be an non-human not counting a Fanon version of Shalltear Bloodfallen.
• His Anime version is less hateable due to his fight with Ainz and death being skipped but still hatable abet barley to still qualify as Hate Sink.
