Carol is one of the main antagonists in Sympathy of the Internet fanfic.

She is a manipulative teenager who is willing to become the top student of Cassell High School so she manipulated many students into doing things for her in order to get them expelled. She alongside Audrey, Matthew and Sarah are Carrie's bullies and archenemies.

What makes her a Hate Sink?

• While she may look nice and sweet however it's only a facade to get what she wants.
• She manipulated many students into doing things for her in order to get them expelled.
• Manipulated Carrie into doing the same things as she done to the other students to get her expelled to the point she became even more depressed.
• She seduced the principal into expelling the targeted students and got him arrested for these actions.
• She alongside Audrey, Matthew and Sarah bullied Carrie throughout her school month to the point she nearly committed suicide.
• It's revealed she caused many students to have PSTDs and mental issues because of her manipulation and seduction.
• Shows no remorse for what she's done and tried to put the blame on Carrie.
• Despite having a slight tragedy for not having emotions however its not a excuse for all the things she done.
• She later gets karma by being pushed out of the window from Carrie and exposed her actions, resulting her to be expelled and possibly arrested along with her reputation shattered and life now ruined, receiving the same karmic fate like how she treated Carrie, while Carrie now has her revenge, free from the abuse and a better life.
• Her defeat and expulsion is not played for any sympathy instead pure satisfaction, where she began crying for Carrie to forgive her as a attempt to weasel her way out, only for Carol to be cornered by the principal and students that she framed and her parents berating her and telling her that they'll treating her like what she did to Carrie.
• The scene where Carol receiving a belt beating by her father and being spanked by her mother is played satisfaction.
