Destroyers of Innocence

Destroyers of Innocence are Hate Sinks who inflict harm to a sympathetic and usually defenseless character such that they are never the same again, and/or commits an act so atrocious that the story/setting is permanently darkened in some way. These types of Hate Sinks invoke great outrage from the audience as the crimes they commit have a lasting negative impact on the general atmosphere of their respective universe that can never be fully reversed, if even at all.

Examples of destroying innocence include orchestrating an immense terrorist attack or mass genocide, betraying their loved ones, hurting their victims so badly that they turn evil out of revenge, etc.
