Hate Sinks who feign politeness to hide their true colors and manipulate other people. Once the victim gains their trust, they will reveal their true jerk nature and plan to backstab them.

Note: Not all Hate Sinks feign affability. Some are always hostile towards everyone without showing false courtesy (e.g. William Wharton, Van Zant, Kaigaku, Tomoo). In fact, doing this can be beneficial to being hated. What's worse is that there are Hate Sinks who were truly nice towards the heroes before heading towards the point of no return, which can be genuinely shocking that these individuals were truly nice before completely shredding their niceness altogether.
