Psychological Abusers are Hate Sinks who mess with the minds of their victims, such as making them feel worthless, unwanted, crazy, etc. Examples of psychological abuse include intimidation, gaslighting, wrongful criticism, back-handed compliments, etc. These kind of Hate Sinks are especially cruel and abhorred due to their tendencies of preying on people's fears/insecurities and devaluing their confidence and well-being, arguably more so than physical mistreatment, though both often come hand-in-hand.

Psychological abuse can also be used as a form of torture, such as forced sleep deprivation and brainwashing.
