Cath Palug is the final antagonist of The Seven Deadly Sins franchise. He is a descendant of Chaos who disguised himself as Arthur’s pet in order to steal his power of Chaos and use it to destroy the world.

In Japanese, he was voiced by Aoi Yūki. In English he was voiced by Abby Trott.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• Was such a horrible and sadistic tyrant, the Goddesses had to banish him from their home dimension.
• Pretended to be Arthur's (who is technically a child) friend solely due to knowing he would inherit the power of Chaos. He would later lower his guard then eat his arm for power. He had no attachment to Arthur, thinking of him only as a snack.
• Planned to use Arthur’s Chaos powers to destroy every living being.
• Is incredibly sadistic and arrogant as he brags about the horrifying ways he plans to kill everybody.
• Taunts Arthur about how his kingdom has been wiped off the map just to cruelly spite him. this is what turned Arthur into the misanthropic, genocidal tyrant he is in the sequel, hating all life forms other than humans due to this message.
• During his fight, with the six remaining Seven Deadly Sins and Elizabeth, he puts them in illusions as hope to kill them. In Meliodas' case, he makes him dream of growing old with Elizabeth until her death. After Elizabeth's death, he appears to attack the kingdom and taunts Meliodas for being alone, hoping to eat away at his psyche, knowing that Meliodas is heartbroken over losing Elizabeth constantly.
• Is a complete sore loser who is unable to accept his defeat after being outsmarted.
• Unlike many villains in the series, he has no complexity or Freudian excuse for his actions, being evil simply because he can be.
