Chad is a minor antagonist in Season 4 of Stranger Things. He is one of Jane/Eleven's bullies at Lenora Hills High School and friends with Angela and Jake.
He is portrayed by Alex Wagenman.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Alongside Jake and Angela, he takes every opportunity to bully Jane.
- While his bullying is much less direct than that of Jake and Angela's, he still stands out because he has an annoying laugh whenever they ridicule her, often laughing at cruel and/or childish jokes, which helps him stand out compared to Stacy who doesn’t do anything except give cruel smiles.
- Like Jake, he never feels remorse for tormenting El/Jane.
- The only form of karma Chad gets is being shocked and horrified when El bludgeons Angela’s face with a roller skate after having enough of the bullying, leaving Chad unable to help Angela where he and his friends realize the consequences of their cruel actions.
