Chad Garland is a minor antagonist in the TV series Locke and Key.
He was portrayed by Steven Love.
What makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is very combative, picking a fight with Tyler Locke just because he told him to stop tormenting poor Kinsey.
- He is perverted, trying to get Jackie Veda and Eden Hawkins to party with him which makes them loathe him and later trying to coerce Kinsey to party with him instead by grabbing her arm when she's already said no, with his obvious reason for singling all three of them out is for their looks (especially considering he didn't even consider being enticed to get Tyler to go like the other three).
- He is so vile that not just Jackie, but even Javi and Brinker Martin, hate him, and all three kids mention him with profanity-filled insults (and the latter two themselves weren't exactly paragons of virtue).
- Overall, he is a very vile teenager who is considerably contentious and perverted.
