Chikou is a major antagonist of the Epilogue chapters of Yu Yu Hakusho. He is a disgusting slaver who sexually abused Mokuro and other women to satisfy his own cruel desires.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• He forced himself on Mukuro every time she reached her birthday, starting on the day she was actually born by modifying her body. Any time she tried to refuse, he sadistically taunted her by saying that's she's his daughter and that he likes her attempts of resisting. This forced her to burn herself with acid at the age of seven so that he would stop.
• After throwing her out, just to make sure she wouldn't try to kill him later on, he planted false memories of happier times in Mukuro's head, showing that he never really cared for her and enjoyed how these false memories couldn't allow her to kill him.
• Years later, when Hiei tries to kidnap him, Chikou is still shown as a horrible person he was before, still using other woman as his personal toys and even saying to bring him a new one.
• After being kidnapped by Hiei, he beggs for mercy despite never showing it to anybody else himself.
• While the final chapters of the manga show that a lot of lower-class demons were manipulated into being evil, Chikou is a final reminder that demons, just like humans, can always be horrible out of their own free will.
• While his ultimate fate of being bonded with a plant that would heal any wounds he received unless his neck was cut off so he would be tortured by Mukuro was quite brutal, it's played for satisfaction due to how evil he's shown himself to be.
