What Makes Them Despicable

Torment innocent people by showing the dead of their loved ones and breaking them.

Murdering Barbara's Gordon Mother as well attempting to kill Barbara's Gordon.
Betraying Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey just to shatter the opposition.
Being a coward mutliple times just to save his own skin as well not showing any loyalty to the regime.

Clayface is minor antagonist of the Injustice: Gods Among Us comics.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

In General[]

Unlike most versions of Clayface, who are mostly tragic and sympathetic, this version is not portrayed sympathetically in the slightest, because he enjoys people suffering and is willing to use his powers to torment others out of sadism.

Injustice[]

When he finds out the Regime at Arkham Asylum to kill inmates he escapes, letting us know how much of a pathetic coward he is.
While he wanted to help Jim and the Birds of Prey's against Injustice Superman, it's only out of pragmatic reasons and not wanting to get himself killed by the regime showing how much he is a coward.
He changes into the deceased Dick Grayson to lure Barbara Gordon, making worst thing he did by torments the loved one.
He revealed his true nature after he met Superman and joined the Regime giving him the mission of tormenting its victims by showing their dead loved ones and he is willing to do it.
He showed absolutely zero remorse towards killing Barbara's mother.
He attacked the Birds of Prey and Jim Gordon by cowardly hitting Barbara first, who is in a wheelchair, letting us know he has absolutely no honor and no respect for those with disabilities.
Him being stuffed into a jar by Harley to be prevented from causing more trouble is a well-deserved punishment and played for catharsis.

Trivia[]

He along with Solovar, Victor Zsasz, Metamorpho and Wonder Woman are among the Hate Sinks of the Injustice franchise.
He is so far the only version of Clayface to be a Hate Sink.
