"Love to hate" factors	Susan Sarandon does give her a good performance. She doesn't treat Kira horribly...at first. Some of her moments can be funny, though she is deserving of whatever the babies do to her (in particular Dil)

What Makes Her A Hate Sink

• While she is friendly to her boss, this is purely out of pragmatism. And she was scheming behind his back.
• She lies to her boss that she is engaged to a man with a child of his own, as she figures she can become president this way.
• As well as her hating children, they seem to hate her in return, as Kimi was shown trying to get away from this lady who was dragging her by the arm.
• While she seemingly befriends Angelica, she decides to betray her and lies to her that she will do what she wants in exchange for her cooperation and help with her scheme. And she also threatened to lock her up forever and ever, simply because she ate her chocolate, which is partly why she went along with helping Coco.
• Even her own lackey (Jean Claude) admits that she is a heartless shrew.
• She falsely befriends Chaz and pretends to love him in order to get him to marry her. She also goes as far as to try to have Chuckie's teddy bear, which was a gift from his deceased mother, burned.
• When Kira finds out the truth about why she really wants to marry Chaz and Chuckie, she doesn't even deny that she doesn't care about them. She also goes as far as to throw Kira out on the curb to avoid being ratted out.
• She sends the Rugrats to a warehouse without permission from their parents simply because she didn't want them to interrupt her wedding.
• She decides to dismiss and insult Jean Claude for his failure, though Jean Claude himself is not sympathetic.
• When her employer Mr. Yamaguchi finds out that she used an innocent man and his son in her scheme to become president, he immediately fires her. (It's implied that he could forgive Coco for lying to him, but the fact that she manipulated Chaz and Chuckie to get what she wanted is where he draws the line.)

Trivia

• In many ways, Kira is everything she pretends to be.
• Susan Sarandon also portrayed Queen Narissa, who manipulated Nathaniel in a similar fashion to how she manipulated Chaz.
