~ Corro |
Corro is a minor antagonist in the AMC series Into the Badlands, serving as the main antagonist of the prequel comic Pole of a Falling Star.
He was a Clipper of the Armadillo Territory during the time that Quinn was a child and Cog working in the fields. Due to killing Quinn's father for an incredibly petty reason, Corro indirectly inspires Quinn's brutal worldview as a tyrant once he becomes a Baron.
What Makes Him Hated?[]
- Corro is a Clipper in the Armadillo Territory, meaning he has killed countless people on the orders of his Baron, many of which were likely innocent.
- Shows extreme prejudice towards Cogs, believing they are weak and deserve to be mistreated by those of higher status such as himself.
- He oversees the cornfields and brutally punishes any Cogs that do not meet their quota.
- Threatens Quinn and his father with extreme punishment after they arrive late during a harvest.
- He puts Quinn's father on dawn patrol simply because he didn't like the fact that Quinn was staring at him.
- After Quinn steals an ear of corn and his father lies and claims he was the one who did it, Corro is aware this is a lie but proceeds to beat Quinn's father to death in front of him anyways.
- He is shown spending his spare time soliciting Doll prostitutes who are essentially sex slaves in the world of the Badlands.
- When Quinn attacks him with his sword, he uses the Doll that he is with to shield himself, resulting in her getting stabbed by Quinn and killed.
- Despite claiming the weak deserved to die, when Quinn sneaks up on Corro while he is seeing a Doll and plans to kill him, Corro proceeds to beg for mercy despite everything that he has done.
