My money's on me kickin' your bitch-ass all night long.
~ Crow's battle intro.
What if I were to sweeten the pipe? What? You don't recognize your girl's hair when you see it? Chill, man. Your girl's alright, but if you want it to stay that way, you're gonna do what I say, and I say you fight for me now. You dig it? You're gonna win back my clubs and put my bosses back in place. Anyone asks, you had a "change of heart", decide to make some real money. You say otherwise, the deal's off, and so is she.
~ Crow blackmailing the Protagonist into working from him by taking his girlfriend hostage.
F*** the code! D-Mob was always talking that old-school loyalty bullshit! You're from the streets. You know there is only one code out here that matters: ride or get rolled on!
~ Crow trying to justify his actions to the Protagonist.

Crow is the main antagonist in the video game Def Jam Fight for NY and the secondary antagonist of its prequel Def Jam Fight For NY: The Takeover. He is a mobster boss whose goal was to take over all of his rival and former boss D-Mob's clubs and claim New York for himself.

He was voiced by the famous hip hop artist Snoop Dogg.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

  • He sends his henchmen in suicidal missions.
  • He is known to possess zero honor whatsoever. This is shown when the Protagonist beats Crow's best fighter Crack, Crow breaks the deal where the winner would have all the fight clubs in New York while the loser had to leave to Jersey and have Magic, Trejo and Sticky Fingaz (who betrayed D-Mob) attack the limo D-Mob and the Protagonist were in a drive-by. The attack resulted in a big accident in which Trejo died and D-Mob becoming severely injured and later arrested.
  • When the Protagonist refused his offer to join his side, he had his girlfriend kidnapped and forced him to fight for him in order to regain his clubs and take control of New York so he could get his girlfriend back. The Protagonist's betrayal would cause his reputation to be destroyed and him to be despised by his friends, including D-Mob himself.
    • What's worse is that he wasn't going to let her live anyways, further showing how dishonorable he is.
  • For his final "job," he tries to have the protagonist kill his last remaining friend Blaze.
  • He ordered Sticky incinerate the factory the protagonist's girlfriend was being held at, which leads to her getting comatose. It is heavily implied that she actually died.
  • When the Protagonist, Blaze and the other members of the crew go to confront Crow, he orders his henchman to kill them. When Crack and WC defect and join the Protagonist, he orders them dead as well.
  • He orders Magic to shoot the Protagonist in the head. However, he also defects and gives him the gun instead, he cowardly tries to talk his way out of it, making empty promises to win the city "fair and square." When the Protagonist rightfully points out that he broke the street code due to his dishonorable actions, Crow rationalizes it by saying the only real code is "ride or get rolled on."
  • Even when the Protagonist decides to spare Crow despite everything he's done to him, Crow sneaks behind him and stabs him in the back, which truly cements him as a cowardly and dishonorable gangster.
  • He is openly repulsed and hated by everyone in the game, even his own henchmen as Crack, WC, and Magic deserted from his crew out of disgust for his actions.
