Custard Cookie is a minor antagonist in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
He is the head of House Custard and Clotted Cream Cookie's adoptive father, whom he raised to be a political representative for the Crème Republic. While initially seeming like a strict but well-respected figure, behind his façade he is a corrupt authority figure who wants to preserve House Custard's rule at any cost.
He was voiced by Kwon Chang-wook in Korean, Koji Kawakami in Japanese and Yuri Lowenthal in English.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is the corrupt president of the Crème Republic who only cares about having his house's power monopolized, and is willing to make immoral decisions to preserve it.
- He took Clotted Cream Cookie away from his birth mother Light Cream Cookie, adopting him and raising him to be the Crème Republic's consul and a representative for House Custard. He would regularly berate Clotted Cream Cookie for failing his standards and groom him into being as perfect as possible, all so he can use him to secure House Custard's authority of the Republic.
- He also treated Light Cream Cookie just as badly, stopping her from visiting Clotted Cream Cookie and claiming that her presence would distract him from his duties, and told her never to visit her son again unless she wanted to talk about something important.
- When Clotted Cream Cookie reported that the Soul Jams were almost stolen by the Cookies in White Masks before being able to thwart them, Custard Cookie berated him for letting the incident happen in the first place and claimed that he was bringing dishonour to House Custard. He later expressed his beliefs that Clotted Cream Cookie's recent poor performance was the result of his original doughline being weak. After employing him on his next mission, Custard Cookie told him that it was he who dragged him out of his ruined house and gave him education and wisdom and that he needed to repay him, further proving how he only sees Clotted Cream Cookie as his own tool.
- He planned to exploit the other Cookies' experiments such as Espresso Cookie's Magic Candy and Oyster Cookie's Pearl Jellies, wanting to use them and the Ancient Heroes' Soul Jams to make his house more powerful.
- He admonished Clotted Cream Cookie for trying to return the Soul Jams to their owners, but was silenced by the latter who reasoned that it was the right thing to do and keeping them would irreversibly damage both House Custard and the Republic.
- After Canelé Cookie and Mille-feuille Cookie were arrested, he suggested to the Convocation of Elders to cover up the incident to preserve the Great Houses' reputations.
- When Captain Caviar Cookie called out the Convocation for always sweeping their issues under the rug and starving their citizens in the Lower City while eating delicacies, Custard Cookie accused him of deliberately sowing unrest in the Lyceum, proving that he shows no remorse towards the welfare of his own citizens.
- After Oyster Cookie agrees with Captain Caviar Cookie's points, Custard Cookie loses his composure and calls the latter a sea dog. When he threatened to call the Pearl Legion to deal with them, Oyster Cookie reminds him that they serve House Oyster, causing Custard Cookie to get even more argumentative until the fight is broken by the Cookies of Darkness' invasion.
- During the invasion, he immediately flees the Crème Republic to take refuge in his summer villa until the attack is over, leaving the other Elders and his own son to handle the threat alone, which ultimately proves him to be nothing more than a coward willing to abandon even those most beneficial to him.
- While he has a brief moment of respect towards his great-nephew Custard Cookie III while the latter talked about Premier Custard Cookie's legacy, he then felt disappointed with the young prince's naivety and called him a "half-baked disgrace of a Cookie", made worse by the fact that Custard Cookie III is only a young child.
