D.J Rock is one of the main antagonists in the Static Shock episode "They Are Playing My Song". He is a Music Producer who Stole Rubberband Man’s Music which caused him to get revenge on him
He was voiced by Terence Trent D'Arby.
What makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He steals other people’s music and rip them off to be more rich and gives them to singers
- When Rubberband Man was normal He signed The contract that his folleague called him and steal his music
- Since he stole this music And Rubberband Man was in the Big Bang he uses his power to get revenge on him.
- When he saw the news of Ice-Pack gets Kidnapped by Rubberband Man he didn’t care about him meaning he never care that guy he give the music to dies
- One of his men told him that the Bang Babies are pretty good and that he soon music from a lot of people which he stares at him meanly
- he calls Rubberband Man a freak when he says if he comes looking for him he’ll be ready
- he lied to Rubberband Man when he got in his Mansion To take as much money he can have and he closes the door on Rubberband Man and tells him that he stole his money fair and square and tells him that he has half hour of air which means he’ll die due to lack of oxygen
- When Static Came and defeat his men he tells him what is he doing which means he doesn’t show care for his men.
- When Static Hears Rubberband Man banging on the door vault he tells him to open it but he refuses and tells him to do himself.
- After Static use his powers on the door vault to free Rubberband Man it angered him and tries to Foolishly Attack him only to get Knocked out by him
- After Rubberband man has been detained, he believed that he is can still get away but Static pointed out that his plagiarism was exposed meaning his reputation is damaged much to his Dismay and Disappointment which was played for satisfaction.
Trivia[]
- He along with Aron Price, Slipstream, Permafrost's Stepfather, Replikon, and Bernie Rast are the only Static Shock characters to be a hate sink.
