Daniel is a minor yet pivotal antagonist of a pokemon fanfic, Pokemon Dominion and it's spin off series, Pokemon: The Critical Journeys, serving as the main antagonist of episode 23 "The Strange Sableye".

He is a trainer who is willing to sell his own pokemons for money and wants to capture shiny Sableye to get even bigger money. He was also Drizzile's former trainer after abandoning it for being too weak.

What makes him a Hate Sink?

• He abandoned his Drizzile simply because he saw it being too weak.
• He was willing to sell his own pokemons that he caught to get a lot of money.
• When a HootHoot started following him, he punches it to the ground and ignores it pain.
• He tried to catch a shiny Sableye just to get even more money with it.
• He never cares for his own pokemons and leaves them behind just because they failed to beat Cinderace and Gardevoir.
• When Victor catches Sableye, he forcibly tries to steal it from his hands.
• Upon seeing his Inteleon evolved, he starts mocking it, calling it very weak and useless on battles.
• After being defeated, he attempts to beat up Victor just because he won.
• Upon being arrested, he gives off a smirk. Meaning he shows no remorse for what he done.

Trivia

• In a original script, He was in a group alongside Kayla, Goh and Chloe called the The Heist Club and tried to sabotage Victor during his journeys throughout the series but this was scrapped due to difficulties. If this was still added in the final script, it would make him slightly less worse, yet still a Hate Sink.
