Danton are the main protagonists (aside his sister Sydney) of a YouTube short horror film "Siblings Kill Parents For Insurance Money, End Will Shock You" by Vid Chronicles. He is a greedy psychopath who conspires with Sydney to kill their wealthy parents so they'll never have to work again.

What Makes Him A Hate Sink?

• He only has one redeeming factor: He seems to care about Sydney despite forcing her to do the crime.
• Before he walks in the house, he tells Sydney that their parents will die no matter what, doesn't matter when, so they shouldn't feel guilty, and that with their new wealth, they'll never have to work again.
• He gives his parents a very nice "greeting" which was not genuine, and talks about how we grow up, get busy, and that's why he never talked to them, when in reality he was planning to kill them.
• He reminds Sydney not to break the act, because they've been planning this for a long time (meaning even when they were young), and says they both love him but they need to do this (he clearly doesn't really love them).
• He poisons his parents' food, and reminds Sydney that the poison, though expensive, will not be detectable to the cops, relaxing her into going through with it.
• He gives a cold, sadistic smile (as shown in the infobox) when his parents eat the poison while Sydney freaks out and feels remorse for a moment.
• He asks Sydney to tell a straight story to the cops, that their parents were eating and passed out, calling 911 to tell the story, and again when they arrived.
• When they get caught because of the security camera in the kitchen, he doesn't feel remorse, while at least Sydney does, despite being as guilty as him.
• He tried to pretend they were crazy and should go to rehab, until Sydney confesses their whole crime.
