“ | Denji boy... Ya have our thanks. Obedient like a dog. Happy to work for cheap, treated like a dog too. Thing is though, I hate the stench of fucking dogs. Us Yakuza, we wanted to get stronger to make more money, so we made a contract with a devil like you did. What we want was a devil's power. | „ |

- When Denji's father seemingly committed suicide, he offers no pity and forces the debt on Denji instead, who was merely just a child, while threatening the mourning child to dismember him for pieces if he doesn't pay and even encourages him to commit crimes and robbery or sell himself out to pedophiles to gain the money.
- When Denji decides to be a devil hunter under his payroll, he exploits him for any sort of endeavor.
- Remains placing Denji in crippling debt regardless of selling out his services to him that Denji has to sell out his organs to try making an attempt to pay up.
- Acknowledging how loyal Denji was to him, he still nonetheless betrays him and calls him a dog as he sells him as well as the rest of his organization to the zombie devil for a futile attempt to gain more power.
- While he cares for his grandson, it is not portrayed in a sympathetic way, as while he spoils his grandson and raises him to become the sociopathic Samurai Sword, he ruins the lives of numerous other families and children of the same age as well.
