Disco is a major antagonist of the Saboady Archipelago Arc in the One Piece anime and manga series. He had control of a human trafficking business called the Human Auctioning House until Donquixote Doflamingo gave him the business.
What Makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- He was the figurehead of the Human Auctioning House that captures individuals and sells them off as property to slave owners for profit.
- He had no care for the well-being of the individuals he auction and sell in his business.
- He beats up Caime when she tries to resist.
- Disco is indifferent to the suffering he causes and is only concerned with maintaining the business for his own personal gain.
- When Luffy attacks a Celestial Dragon and the business is at risk, he is shown to panic as he begs Doflamingo to help him out of the mess that he is in. This demonstrates that he lacks any back-up plan when things go awry.
- He is shown to be selfish and cowardly and only concerned about himself and the business he ran.
- In the cover page of chapter 659, he is shown to be disgruntled since his business is no longer profitable and sustainable. He puts a dagger in the bounty posters of all the pirates, who are Eustass Kid, Trafalgar Law, Monkey D. Luffy, and Rayleigh, he blames for his business failing while ignoring how much suffering he caused by profiting off the business.
