Discord is the main antagonist of the My little Pony fanfic Metamorphosis, a one-shot story set in "The Nuptialverse".
Before he was imprisoned for a thousand years, he was a sadistic manipulator who ruled Equestria in his madscape chaotic dystopia and the creator of the changeling race later led by former pegasus, Queen Chrysalis.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Despite being Discord, his personality is replaced by a sadistic one instead of the affable one that he has in the canon. In addition, due to the story ending with him stuck in stone, this version of Discord does not redeem himself like his original counterpart did.
- He was the being who plunged Equestria into endless chaos for his own sick amusement.
- He used Queen Chrysalis, when she was still a pegasus, to attack the Capital Building.
- He painfully transformed all of the Flutterponies into the Changeling race.
- He killed Privet Pansy, Chancellor Puddinghead, Smart Cookie, Clover the Clever, Princess Platinum, Commander Hurricane, and an unnamed Pegasus in a rampage.
- He fired an arrow out of Commander Hurricane's mouth and hit Privet Pansy with it.
- He turned Chancellor Puddinghead’s head into actual pudding.
- He turned Smart Cookie into a pony shaped cookie with her legs crumbling apart and she felt the pain.
- He turned Clover the Clever’s magic into clovers and they sprouting all over her, turning her into a walking shrubbery.
- He turned Princess Platinum into actual platinum.
- He rips a Pegasus wings off and turned her into a floating paper.
- While we don't know how he killed Commander Hurricane, we do know his body is now bloodied.
- He betrays Chrysalis and transforms her into the Changeling Queen.
- He also breaks her back by 90 degrees when she tries to attack him.
- He killed Celestis and Luna's family all horrifically and cursed the two sisters with immortality so that they could never join them in death.
- He floated three ponies over a fiery pit, holding them like marionettes.
- Discord manipulated the earth pony into dipping his flank into the fire, causing him to scream and howl with pain.
- He took Chrysalis and the changeling race down with him when he was turned to stone.
- When he is freed, he refuses to release the changelings from stone, saying they are his ace in the hole.
- He threatens Chrysalis to go into Canterlot and free him if he fails again.
- He keeps the changelings trapped in the mountain.
- He then goes off to do what he did during his debut.
