Dodge Landon is the secondary antagonist of the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
He was portrayed by Tom Felton.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He regularly abused Caesar and the other apes at the shelter for sport. The constant abuse of Caesar and the apes is what caused Caesar to start the ape revolution.
- Even after being spared by Caesar, he still proceeds to try to kill him and the other apes.
- He's such a scumbag to everyone that even his father has contempt for him and has no hesitation with firing him. This is proved as he regularly bullies his co-worker Rodney, who was much kinder towards the apes and disapproved Dodge's relentless abuse of them.
- Unlike the majority of trilogy of villains in the trilogy, he has no entertaining qualities whatsoever or any sort of reason to do what he does other than because he can.
