Dougier is the main antagonist of Wriothesley's story quest in Genshin Impact. He is the organizer of the Beret Society, an organization within the Fortress of Meropide consisting the prisoners.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He forced many Fortress of Meropede inmates into submitting to him by injecting them with a liquified fear substance called Aqua Doloris.
- He made overly strict rules in his Beret Society that banned members from even interacting with one another.
- He put members into groups of five with the entire group being punished if even one member of said group breaks any of his rules.
- He attempts to force Avice to punish Fasoille by lethally injecting him with Aqua Doloris.
- He claims to want a share of the power Wriothesley holds, but as Wriothesley points out, Dougier merely wants to strip others of their sense of freedom.
- He is a hypocrite who tries to weasel his way out of punishment from Wriothesley by claiming that unauthorized punishment is against the rules of the fortress despite having been doing that himself.
- His punishment of being forced to live in fear of whatever punishment comes his way is played off as karmic.
