Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is the main antagonist of the short Sonic The Hedgehog fanfiction born in this pain a story that revolves around giving Infinite a more sympathetic backstory.
He is a mad, egotistical scientist who strives on using the Phantom Ruby in order to reduce the world to ash and rebuild it as one massive amusement park in his name, with Infinite being the main vessel.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Unlike the original Eggman, who is a laughably evil villain and has a few redeeming qualities, this version of him is an unrepented scumbag with absolutely nothing redeeming about him.
- The first thing he does in the story is burn down Infinite's hometown, killing several innocent people, with the story detailing how there were "corpses littering the charred grass".
- After killing everyone in his hometown, he proceeds to kidnap Infinite in order to be used as a vessel for the Phantom Ruby.
- He straps Infinite to a machine and proceeds to inject the Phantom Ruby into his chest, something of which is detailed as an incredibly painful experience, something of which Eggman takes sadism in doing.
- Using a now submissive Infinite, he proceeds to have him mow down several towns and slaughters thousands of innocents.
- His main motive for causing the amount of destruction he did was with the purpose of reducing the world to ash and rebuilding it as one massive amusement park.
- He gets absolutely no consequences for his actions, being allowed to go off scot-free after submitting Infinite, an innocent person, to a fate worse than death, and turning him into a murder weapon.
