Dr. Emilia is the main antagonist of Kipo and The Age of Wonderbeasts. She is a manipulative and ruthless scientist who wishes to wipe out all Mutes.
What Makes Her A Hate Sink?[]
- Although she was influenced by her abusive father to develop xenophobic views on all Mutes, not only does this not excuse her behavior nor her actions, but she eventually became driven by her own self-serving needs to force the world to live based on her worldviews.
- Despite claiming she seeks the salvation of humanity with the riddance of the mutes, she proves clearly she wants nothing other than to satisfy her own delusional need to prove to herself that she is right about her beliefs that humans are superior to them and they cannot coexist with them, which is called out by Lio, Kipo and Mulholland.
- She proves to not care about humans, being unhesitating with her desire to eliminate all proofs and witnesses that can show her ideals are wrong and unrealistic, thus why she has no qualms about harming or outright killing any human (like her own brother or even minors like Kipo and her friends) if that benefited her in this aspect, especially when it comes to those who have learned that mutes can be peaceful and rightfully begin opposing her so as to either make it easier to influence other people into supporting her beliefs or to make sure she has no obstacles in her way.
- This is further proven by various other instances, like Emilia demanding Kipo to lie to the others to make them see things her way, attempting to kill everyone as a mega-mute in a last attempt to make her ideals as the only one left prevailing and by both Lio and Song expressing their disgust of her actions as they explain she fights for nothing other than the prevalence of her own standards while being willing to do anything to achieve it.
- She killed her own brother Liam just to prevent him from spreading positive views on Mutes to other humans, later framing his death on the mutes to convince the other scientists that mutes were dangerous and needed to be exterminated, and she absolutely has no remorse for killing her own flesh and blood.
- Holds a racist and xenophobic view towards all Mutes.
- She was abusive towards Hugo and caused him to become Scarlemagne into his decent into villainy.
- She tried to kill Kipo when she was just a little newborn.
- She used Hugo's pheromones to brainwash Song into being her pawn while she was in her mega monkey form for 13 years not caring for all the people she was endangering by destroying the Clover Burrow in the process. What makes this even worse, Song is shown to still be perfectly aware of her surroundings, as well as everything she did, from within her consciousness as the Mega Monkey, even while being mind-controlled. This means she could witness all the devastation she caused as well as her unwitting attempts to kill Kipo while not being able to do anything to stop herself.
- She tried to make Kipo to fight and bring down her own mother so she could use the Sonic Emitter on Scarlemagne.
- She locked Wolf, Dave and Benson in a cage and broke Wolf's weapon, Stalky, in front of her just to spite her, much to her sorrow since Stalky had a big sentimental value to Wolf.
- She kidnapped many mutes and planned to "cure" them and other mutes by turning them into mindless animals which is a fate worse than death.
- She kidnapped Rupert and used Margot to lure Kipo's friends and is responsible for Wolf getting mad at Margot again.
- Despite Margot keeping her end of the deal, she back-stabbed her and shot Margot and Rupert with the cure, and thus, turning them into ordinary wolves and losing their sentience.
- She tormented Song about how she's going to make her kill Kipo.
- She had Greta and Hoag create cure-induced fireworks and had her remaining followers release them onto the mutes who attended the party while mockingly thanking Kipo for gathering them all together for her to cure, though succeeding with only one Humming Bomber while the other Mutes were protected by the humans.
- Turning herself into a mega-mute after revealing her intention to kill everyone in the world and start it over in her own image since she wasn't successful with the cure, later trying to kill Kipo, the mutes and the humans who sided with them while also endangering the rest of her followers.
- She is indirectly responsible for a fully-redeemed Hugo's death, where he sacrificed himself to protect Kipo from being harmed by her.
- When Kipo freed her from being mindless, she immediately attempts to kill her out of rage with a broken shard of glass, and would have succeeded had Mandu not stopped her, And thus, showing that she's not only ungrateful, since Kipo saved from her from a fate worse than death, but completely irredeemable. With even Kipo giving up on saving her afterwards.
