Matthew Skipper McGee (better known as Eddy's Brother) is the overarching antagonist of the Cartoon Network original series Ed, Edd n Eddy. He serves as the main antagonist of Cartoon Network's 5th animated feature film and the show's series finale Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show.
He was previously an unseen character and is the only adult in the series to be both seen and heard. The film also reveals the impact he had on the rest of the series, namely towards his own younger brother Eddy.
He was voiced by Terry Klassen.
Why Do We Hate Him?[]
- He brutally beats Eddy in horrible (though cartoonish) ways such as twisting his leg to play "uncle", throwing him against the door, and even slamming Edd just for defending Eddy.
- It is later revealed that Matthew has been brutalizing Eddy throughout his entire life, which helps give Eddy a Freudian Excuse for his behavior during the series.
- His abuse of Eddy and later Edd made the Cul-de-Sac kids and even the Kankers feel disgusted. They all consider him to be a huge jerk.
- It is heavily implied (though not entirely confirmed) that he has more victims, given that he lives in a trailer at an amusement park, meaning that he gets to torment kids every single day and he loves bullying children who are smaller and weaker than him. And while he never kills those kids, he doesn't make anyone happy except himself.
- He even states when confronted by Eds that he always viewed Eddy as nothing more than a small weakling.
- He is shown to take pleasure in abusing Eddy and attacking Edd.
- His defeat was played for satisfaction, considering he was committing child abuse for his own sadistic humor.
- He lacks any redeeming qualities or comedic moments, has no excuse for his actions and is taken seriously.
- Unlike Sarah, who at one point abused her bigger brother Ed and even insults Eddy, and Kevin, who was a nemesis towards the Eds, both were genuinely horrified of the way Matthew abuses his younger brother Eddy, and his mistreatment towards Eddy were incredibly severe that even Eddy himself doesn't deserve the abusive punishment. Worse, while Sarah had previously acted sweet and innocent in front of her parents to have her brother Ed take the punishment, Matthew was proudly open about his frequent mistreatment towards Eddy, and he isn't ashamed to admit it either, making him exceedingly hateful compared to both Sarah and Kevin.
- To make matters worse, while Sarah and Kevin are still kids (or teenagers), Matthew is a full-grown adult, and his depraved actions makes him all the more hateful.

- He is the icon of the Add Sections template.
- Although his name is never revealed in the film at all, Danny Antonucci, the creator of the show, revealed in an interview that his name is Matthew. For sometime, some fans speculated that his real name was Alan, but that was proven false.
