What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He ordered Henry Wu to create the world's first genetically-modified hybrid dinosaur, the Scorpios rex. The only reason why he even objected to using it in the first place was that he realized its chaotic nature could foil his plans.
- He had a team of mercenaries retrieve the Indominus rex rib bone so he can have Henry Wu use it to create the Indoraptor. He also cares nothing about his mercenaries, as he was willing to kill Hawkes and Reed should they fail him in retrieving Henry Wu's laptop for Mills' own benefit.
- While it may seem that he was a good person who wanted 11 of the species of dinosaurs off of Isla Nublar to give them a sanctuary on a secluded island, this was all just an act; the true reason why he wanted to be said dinosaurs "saved" was so that he can sell them and become rich.
- He ordered Ken Wheatley and the mercenaries to capture Blue so that her DNA can be used to create obedient Indoraptors to use for war.
- He has a childish personality despite being a fully-grown man, getting upset at situations when things don't go his way. He is also impatient, as he chides Wu for not working on their project fast enough, as he was desperate for money.
- When Benjamin Lockwood calls him out when he discovers what was really going on in Lockwood Manor, Mills promptly suffocates him to death with a pillow to ensure that his plans are not foiled.
- He mocks Owen and Claire in a cage by hypocritically claiming to Claire that she exploited the Indominus rex despite him exploiting dinosaurs for his own greed and that he's only using it to excuse his actions, and telling Owen that selling "a trained predator" can make billions of dollars.
- He has many of the dinosaurs successfully auctioned off to immoral people, making many millions of dollars in the process. When the Indoraptor is introduced midway through the auction, Mills tries to have him sold, despite him not being for sale and Wu telling Mills that the Indoraptor is a prototype.
- He tries to get Maisie to come with him by sadistically revealing that she was a clone of Lockwood's daughter, who was devastated by her death in a car accident and simply wanted to see her again.
- In his final moments, he tries to escape with the Indominus rex's DNA so he can create another Indoraptor and sell it, but fails when all the dinosaurs are released and he is eaten by Rexy.
