Emmet Granger is a minor antagonist in the video game Red Dead Redemption 2, appearing in the optional mission "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman". He is a former gunslinger tracked down by the player (either Arthur Morgan or John Marston) for information about Jim "Boy" Calloway.

He was voiced by Matte Osian.

What Make Him a Hate Sink?

• Aside from committing many murders (including child murder), cannibalism and other terrible crimes, he is an over the top jerkass as seen in his interaction with Arthur/John.
  • He initially refuses to communicate with the player and only agrees to tell him about Calloway if the player cleans the manure out of his pigsty, but as the player carries out the task he instead brags about the atrocities he committed with sadistic joy.
  • He is angry that Calloway is getting his own biography but he isn't.
  • He threatens to kill the player and feed him to the pigs.
  • He still refuses to give information about Calloway after the player finishes mucking out his pigsty.
• He got away with his crimes by obtaining a federal pardon and retiring to his farm.
• He further shows cowardly tendencies when the player threatens him by backing away and bringing up his diplomatic immunity as a government witness.
• Although it was arguably harsh of the player to cover him in manure, Granger deserved it for his heinousness and petty, ungrateful attitude.
• He then challenges the player to a duel to kill him, leading to his own comeuppance.
  • When the player disarms him, instead of accepting defeat Granger attempts to knife him but is shot dead by the player.
