Ercole Visconti is the main antagonist of Pixar's 24th full-length animated feature film Luca.
He is a five-time Portorosso Cup champion who prides on his accomplishments in front of others. Besides that, he likes to hunt down sea monsters for him to achieve more prizes. He is also the archnemesis of Giulia Marcovaldo, Luca Paguro, and Alberto Scorfano.
He was voiced by Saverio Raimondo in both the English and Italian versions. In the Japanese dub, he was voiced by Daisuke Namikawa.
What Makes Him A Hate Sink?[]
- Abuses his own goons, Ciccio and Guido.
- When Luca tries to explain for looking at his Vespa, he mocks him.
- He and his goons try to beat Luca and Alberto to humiliate them.
- Bullied Luca, Alberto and Giulia throughout the movie.
- Mocked Giulia when she tries to insult him.
- When Luca insults him, he threatens him just because the latter insulted him.
- Mocked Luca while passing him, Alberto and Giulia by.
- When Guido laughs at Luca's insults, he threw a hoagie at him.
- Tried to ram Luca and Alberto while they are rowing on a boat.
- Even Guido appeared to be horrified of this.
- Admitted that he always enjoyed hurting others for sadism.
- Attempted to have Luca and Alberto leave Potorosso by banishing them for no reason, other than it being his town, and disliking both of them.
- Other than claimed Portorosso to be his town, it is implied that he ruled it over with an iron fist.
- Tries to beat up Alberto just because the latter insulted him.
- He and his goons try to throw harpoons at Alberto.
- Cheats by putting fish oil of Ciccio during the race, and forcing Guido to eat.
- Pushed Alberto to prevent him from helping Luca, which exposes his true form.
- When he realizes that both Luca and Alberto are sea-monsters, he chases them while attempting to kill them, despite them both being harmless and children.
- While pursuing Luca and Alberto during the race, he pushed a girl's bike just because she was in his way,
- When Luca and Alberto stand up to him, he taunts them by telling them how all of Portorosso hates and is disgusted by the two boys for being monsters in order to undermine their confidence.
- When Alberto, Guilia, and Luca break his harpoon, he orders Ciccio and Guido to give him another harpoon in order to kill both Alberto and Luca.
- When they understandably refuse, he tells them to be "useful for once in their pathetic lives" in spite of everything they've done for him, showing how much he's taken the two for granted.
- His defeat is played for satisfaction as he childishly mourns over his cloth's soakness after he was thrown in the fountain by his former goons.
